8. Is this a scam?
No. This is a financial education seminar and Cashflow game. The game uses play money. However, if your mindset is "scam" - unfortunately this is not the place to go - you won't find any.

The goal of Think Rich Pinoy is to create wealth -- using whatever legal means-though primarily through real estate - because that's the safest way to go. You will not be required to buy property from Think Rich Pinoy people (at any given time we actually have only a handful available properties and we don't get investors just because they have the money). You buy them from sellers out there in the world. We just enable you to start building your wealth.
Real Estate Investing Wisdom is not taught in schools. That's why we're doing this. But Think Rich Pinoy is NOT an end of learning, it's a beginning. So please do not make the mistake of thinking you'll become wealthy because of this one seminar.

You might get one idea that can propel you to become a millionaire. It happens quite a lot. You might get it from the people, the game, the seminar, who knows? Via Sergio Osmeña Highway

From Makati, take EDSA Southbound lane toward Magallanes flyover. Turn right taking the exit toward northbound of Osmeña Highway. Turn left onto Quirino Ave. Turn right at Taft Ave, and then turn left at UN Ave. Philam Life Building will be on your left.

Via Roxas Boulevard

From Makati, take EDSA Southbound lane, toward Magallanes flyover. Turn right at Roxas Boulevard. Continue driving onto the boulevard until you can make a right at UN Ave. Take the turn. Philam Life Building will be on your right.

Via Taft Ave

From Makati, take EDSA Southbound lane, toward Magallanes flyover. Turn right Taft Ave. Turn left onto UN Ave. Philam Life Building will be on your left.

Parking

If you have a car, the parking is on the back of the building. You’ll have to take the other street parallel to UN Avenue, that’s Padre Faura (from Taft in the direction going to Robinson’s Place Mall Faura Wing) and turn right at M Orosa, so you can reach the Philam Parking (w/c would be to your right.)

By Public Transportation

From any MRT station, take the southbound train alighting at Taft Ave Station. Take the walkway connected to LRT-1 Taft Ave. station. Take the train bound to Monumento and thenget off at UN Ave. Station. Go to the Times Plaza direction across the street. Take a five-minute walk along UN Ave. until you reach thePhilam Life Building on your left, passing through WHO Compound and MPD Headquarters.

Toilets would be opposite the direction of the training room.

13. What if I can't make it on the seminar date?

Your reserved seat is transferable or you can reserve the seat on our Next Seminar 3months later. Payments for the seminar are not refundable.

1. How did you discover trp, the book?
After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, I searched the bookstore for other books on the same topic and came across Larry Gamboa's Think Rich Pinoy.

2. How did you discover trp the seminar?

I emailed Larry Gamboa inquiring about the franchise and he invited me to join the TRP seminar.

3. What caused you to trust that it's all true?

It is in my nature to trust people easily. I may be called gullible

but I've become what I am now because of this trait.

4. What was your initial/personal efforts BEFORE the book to become
wealthy? Please tell us the story.

I had a few business ventures before I became a franchisee. I
partnered with a friend to put up a food stall (dimsum stand) inside
the canteen of Globe Telecom which later became two (waffle stand).
This lasted for just 6 months. Then I invested in the stock market. It
was a bullish season and I was up 30% in just a month. However, the
market nosedived and I haven't recovered eversince. These ventures
taught me to do my homework before I get into anything.

5. What and how were your first impressions on the seminar?
I found some topics boring, some really interesting and others I
placed instantly in my priority list. I was really excited and
resolved to keep up the momentum since then.

6. What does your daily schedule look like now? Weekly? regarding
looking for buyers and sellers.

In a typical week, I spend at least 20 hours (at least 4 hours per day) for the following

activities: (a) answering emails and calls on prospective buyers,
sellers and investors, (b) site trippings, (c) conferences with
mentors and co-franchisees, basically building my business.

8. What's your actual goal now? In P/$/Networth/Property?

I set my goal at P200,000 passive income per month through real estate
deals by June 2009. At the rate of about P10,000 per month per
property, this translates to about 20 units sold at a rent to own
scheme. To achieve this, I am constantly looking for properties at a
good price. Also, I am seeking for investors who wants to get more returns
than what the banks give them.

9. What kind of help/people are you looking for in your business?

I currently have 2 virtual assistants for online activities and a personal
assistant to answer calls. I need organized people. I also appreciate
people who always have a positive disposition.

10. If someone wants to be mentored by YOU, what should they possess?

My student should have a clear goal and knows how to get there. They
should be open to learning. They should not be afraid of failing. They
should be consistent and not just flashes in the pan.

It is a condo unit in the top floor of a low rise building in Makati.
I didn't like it because the hallways are dark and the building itself
is not properly maintained. I had a foresight that the unit will be a
hard sell.

12. How did you discover it?

I saw it from bank foreclosure listings.

13. First property you made an offer on?

I made an offer on a studio unit in Millenium Plaza in Makati.

14. How was it accepted/rejected by the bank?

It was neither accepted nor rejected. I just didn't follow up so I
don't really know the status of the offer. This was a year before I
became a franchisee. I learned a lot from this experience. I cannot be
in this business just by sitting down. It entails consistent
follow-ups and focus.

15. How many properties have you looked at now?

I lost count. Probably about 200 properties (condo units, apartments,
townhouses, house and lots, warehouses, lots).

If you want to attend AGAIN, you can pay 50% of the fee (P 2000 * 50% = P 1000) - just P 1000 to attend again and play cashflow 202 or 101, perhaps to challenge yourself. But you must hurry because there are very limited slots for these.

7. Maximum number of participants?
We can only accommodate 120 participants per session.

8. Is this a scam?
No. Money will not be asked from you when you're in seminar. This is a financial education seminar and cashflow game. The game uses play money. However, if your mindset is "scam" - unfortunately this is not the place to go - you won't find any.

The goal of Think Rich Pinoy is to create wealth --using whatever legal means-though primarily through real estate - because that's the safest way to go. You will not be required to buy property from Think Rich Pinoy people (at any given time we actually have only a handful available properties and we don't get investors just because they have
the money) -you go buy them from sellers out there in the world. We just enable you to start building your wealth.
Real Estate Investing Wisdom is not taught in schools. That's why we're doing this. But the Think Rich Pinoy is NOT an end of learning,it's a beginning -so please do not make the mistake of thinking you'll become wealthy because of this one seminar.

You might get one idea that can propel you to become a millionaire, it happens quite a lot. You might get it from the people, the game, the seminar, who knows? You may but there's a danger of not being able to play cashflow as the slots are very limited. Better to secure your seat via Creditcard (using paypal.com) or deposit to the bank. If you're abroad, the best way is to open a free paypal.com account, connect your credit card to it--following it's directions --so you can buy a ticket online. Connecting your credit card to a paypal account is not a quick thing to do-so I suggest you do so now-even if you're planning to pay later.

Commuting:

Go down at the UN Avenue LRT station, walk towards the Manila Bay with Manila Doctor's Hospital on your right.
The Philamlife Building is in front of the Manila Pavillion/Casino Filipino.
Yes, it's ironic but that's where the Think Rich Pinoy event is held. Enter Philamlife entrance (not the casino).
Just tell the guard "Think Rich Pinoy" and you'll be pointed to a training room just beside the nice outdoor chapel in a garden is located - so it isn't really ironic. Just fitting.

Toilets would be opposite the direction of the training room.

If you have a car, the parking is on the back of the building. You'll have to take the other street parallel to UN Avenue, that's Padre Faura (from Taft in the direction going to Robinson's Place Mall Faura

I was asked to comment on what I think with Dinna Revilla's arrest. I don't know her so I can't really comment other than to say let's allow the legal process to determine whether she's guilty or innocent.

What I will say is this: SO WHAT IF SHE'S ARRESTED? It does not change a thing.

Real estate investing is still a proven way to become wealthy anywhere in the world. Just ask 90% of millionaires in America who have investment real estate in their portfolio. Dude...80% of millionaires made their first million in real estate. So real estate rocks even when some real estate gurus stink.

SO WHAT?

Move on.

Make offers.

Follow the advise of the gurus while sticking with your principles.

Do business with integrity and honesty. Help the sellers. Be honest with your investors.

DO NOT USE THIS AS AN EXCUSE for your failure to act to improve your financial life or an excuse for lousy business results!

Q:Who is Think Rich Pinoy Workshop for? What's the program?

A: The seminar is both motivational and practical. It is targeted towards OFW's and professionals who have made substantial income but somehow still can't seem to get out of the trap of working day in and day out. They have to work instead of choosing to work.

Don't get me wrong, we have nothing against employement or self-employment. We just believe that there is more to life than just working. If you're in that group that wants to more than just work for a living then I'm sure this seminar is for you.

In the first part of the seminar, Bo Sanchez debunks financial myths through the Word of God. Bo Sanchez is a preacher who has a heart for teaching financial literacy to the masses. He will share his perspective on wealth and spirituality with the aid of Scripture. But more than that, he will also share his own tips on acquiring and accumulating wealth, tips that he himself uses.

In the second part, Dr. Larry Gamboa will discuss his Seven Step plan for success in Real Estate Investing. This is a plan that can be applied by someone who has no experience at all in real estate. Within this plan, he will discuss practical techniques for acquiring and profiting from real estate deals. The main idea is, entering into the deal you should already know if you will make a profit or not. These techniques have been used and are a must-have in any investor's arsenal.

The last part of the seminar is an interactive workshop teaching the basics of money management, accounting and investing through the highly-acclaimed game Cashflow 101.

We use the game to test the concepts learned in the first two parts and to give the participants a deeper insight into their beliefs and self-concepts towards the previously-mentioned financial subjects. The game is a great tool for assessing your knowledge in accumulating wealth.

We don't really know of any other real estate seminars that combine all of these elements into one seminar.

During the seminar, Dr. Gamboa will be launching his franchise system for acquiring and profiting from real estate. Through this system, franchisees will get a turn-key system for real estate investing. It takes away the trial-and-error and significantly lowers the risk of the investor. However, this is not for everyone as Dr. Gamboa will be screening prospective applicants just like any franchising system.
